Hallo, I’m Jannis, a tinkerer and gymnast from Switzerland. Just like my life motto: I only believe something can’t work once I’ve seriously searched for a way.Also known as stubbornness, but “motto” reads better.

I started programming at an early age; today I do it professionally with passion. Away from the keyboard I’ve been doing gymnastics at my club for more than ten years, and these days I coach the younger kids.

“Experiment until it breaks. Then figure out why.”

Coaching gives me back as much as it demands, by the way: that same thrill of tinkering with a new move until it finally clicks.

The rest of my head belongs to whatever last caught my curiosity: biographies, design, psychology, and the occasional unsolvable math problem.Haven’t solved one yet. The name checks out.
